I’ve never yet set a story in a stone circle, although I did make use of a prehistoric temple on Malta once. But I have tried to count the number of uprights at the Rollright Stones in Oxfordshire (above – image from the Oxford Mail – and mentioned in the article) and lost count twice. Then again, there are rather a lot of them!
