I’m gently glowing today because I’ve had a really lovely new review for December Roses courtesy of Scottish writer Carol McKay. Carol is part way through a whole series of book reviews on her blog for the first three months of the year, and I’m delighted that she took the time both to read my book, and comment on it. Although she’d not come across the genre of gay paranormal romance before, she rolled up her sleeves and gave it a go, and seems to have thoroughly enjoyed it. Which is always a boost for any writer.
Carol also asked me a series of questions about the book and how I came to write it, or the gay romance genre at all. I tore some of my hair out answering them because they were quite challenging (not least trying to remember that far back). So if you’d like to see me with chunks of hair missing (not really) and read about the background to December Roses, then pop along to Carol’s blog and take a look.
While you’re at it, do check out some of the other reviews she’s posted recently, which are excellent – and her own dramatic book set in Scotland, Incunabulum.
